The group manages the logistics of different types of industrial waste. Our clients belong to different sectors, such as the commercial distribution, food industry, freezing industry, automotive industry, textile industry and agriculture, etc. Among the services offered by the group, we include the waste collection at the producer’s facilities and its subsequent transport to plants authorised for its treatment.
The group manages plants of mass urban solid waste for the appreciated material recovery and the production of refuse-derived fuel (RDF), by applying its know-how to every project for the design of eco-efficient services.
Our capacity for the recovery of appreciated materials and the RDF production is reflected on the following magnitudes:
+ than 8,000 tons/year of ferric materials recovered.
+ than 200 tons/year of aluminium recovered.
+ than 15,000 tons/year of glass recovered.
+ than 400,000 tons/year of RDF produced.
We manage energetic valorisation waste facilities Waste-to-Energy facilities that have been previously subjected to mechanical and recyclable material recovery treatments in order for those materials to be used as fuel to produce energy by means of the controlled combustion in a waste to energy plant. The energetic production generated by the Valtalia group is of 500,000 MWH/year, of which about 350,000 MWH/year are obtained by RDF incineration processes; 150,000 MWH/year are obtained by cogeneration processes.
The group participates in the construction and operation of landfills that have all the measures established by the current legislation for reducing the volume and hazard of that waste, thus generating the least environmental impact. Besides, we take care not only of the operating cells with an intake rate at about 450,000 tons/year, but also handle the already sealed-off cells, with a maximum accumulated amount of 6 million tons. Once the shelf life of landfills is exhausted, we participate in their environmental regeneration process.
Likewise, the group has participated in the construction of the infrastructures needed for the catchment and transport of leached biogas generated in the controlled tanks.
